ANA LUISA
Today on the podcast we have sponsor Ana Luisa Jewelry. Ana Luisa was founded to bring clarity to the jewelry industry. They have spent many years working for traditional luxury brands, the dubious manufacturing, and retail markups did not look right to them. Ana Luisa wanted to write a more beautiful story from beginning to end—starting with recycled materials whenever possible, transparent business practices always, and small-batch designs that are kind to our Earth.
Ana Luisa creates sustainably-crafted pieces that bring joy to those who wear them, and to those who make them, with the conviction that luxury can be enjoyed without excess.
One piece that I enjoy wearing is the Ana Gold necklace. It is perfect for layering, could be worn by itself or I can add a pendant to it as well.

This week I want to share with you a podcast called Saved by the City. I found this podcast through following Katelyn Beaty and her book called A Woman’s Place: The surprising truth about why God intends every woman to work. In the podcast Katelyn is joined by her co host Roxy Stone to chat about various topics from fashion to dating to shattering the glass ceilings.
Roxy and Katelyn grew up in the white evangelical American heartland. Both were warned moving to a supposed bastion of secular culture would be dangerous to their faith. While navigating a city where people sleep in on Sunday mornings and the chaste motto “true love waits” isn’t a thing, the two have found a renewed, vibrant faith that has been both strengthened and stretched in the metropolis.

This week I want to share with you a podcast called PreachersnSneakers with Ben Kirby. Originally I found this podcast through the PreachersnSneakers instagram, I believe sometime before the pandemic started. I started to follow just because I thought it was a funny commentary on megachurch celebrity church culture. Ben the creator of the account then developed a podcast that I checked out also titled the same as his instagram, PreachersnSneakers.
PreachersnSneakers is the ultimate Christian culture podcast where we wrestle with tough questions about for-profit faith, Christian self-help and celebrity culture within faith communities. An interview-based podcast that questions the status-quo, hosted by Ben Kirby-creator of the @preachersnsneakers Instagram account, which highlights the value of your favorite pastor's footwear.

Tuesday Feb 23, 2021
Episode 33 we have sisters Brittany, Miriah and Sierra of Harmony Roads. Brittany, Miriah and Sierra share the passion for creating music together through their band Harmony Roads. These sisters share about how they have always been dabbling in music and how it became a more formal passion along with how their lifes’ changing of seasons allowed them to pause and pursue other passions.
This is the first time that we have had a trio come and share their story and their passions on the podcast. We will be splitting this episode up into two parter. This week we will hear the first half of their story on how the sisters grew up and how their collective passion for music grew together and what life looked like for them growing up and developing their passions as individuals. Next week we will hear about what collective passion for music and their band looks like for them as adults as well as diving into some lessons and areas that they have learned from.
You are for sure going to want to hear Brittney, Miriah and Sierra’s story as they highlight their passions of being Musicians, having a Family Ministry, and becoming Authors & Podcasters . No matter if this is your story and you can relate to them or not I believe that there is something in this episode for you.

PODCAST RECOMMENDATION
Hey Listeners! Some of you may have heard a big part of my story on how I started this podcast. During my day job I get to listen to podcasts all day long. The ones I really enjoy are ones that encompass someone’s story and their passion(s). Since I am an avid podcast listener I wanted to start sharing podcasts and podcast episodes that I have enjoyed and that I think you will enjoy as well.
This week I want to share with you a podcast called the Global News Podcast presented by the BBC. In this podcast you can hear the day’s top stories from BBC News. Delivered twice a day on weekdays, daily at weekends. Usually the podcast is about 20-30 minutes depending on the news of the day. One feature that I enjoy is the variety of countries that are being reported on that I might not have heard about. In that same vein you are able to hear the literal different types of voices from the Globe.
